Hey there! We've created the Green Team on behalf of Stuart and we want to make a difference in this year's Melanoma March by fundraising for Melanoma Institute Australia.

Stuart was diagnosed in 2021 when a small fast growing mole was removed on the back of his leg.  This was found in the middle of winter and not in an obvious location - so we are grateful that it was removed quickly. Lymph nodes were removed and immunotherapy treatment started immediately.

In 2023 the Melanoma had spread and he continued treatment with a different dual immunotherapy plus radiotherapy and nerve block but in September 2025 when there was further growth and he was placed on a new drug trial through Cancer Research SA.   Travelling 7 hours return from home, Stuart went to Adelaide every week for 12 weeks and still continues this trip once every 3 weeks.

We hope that through funding there will be other treatment options for Stuart. Every new cancer treatment starts in a trial phase and we are all hoping that he gets the break through he needs.  Stuart maintains a great outlook on life and concentrates on the things that he CAN do while having a sense of humour that entertains many.
