Hi everyone.

In April 2009 our dad died from a malignant melanoma. He found a tiny mole on his face when he was in his late 50's, not much older than I am now. He died less than 5 years after discovering that tiny mole.

We were in our 30's when our dad was dying. Our last family lunch was for my 40th birthday less than 2 weeks before he died. My mum was widowed in her early 60's. To say this tiny mole devastated our family is to wholly understate how our lives, and family, changed.

Had dad been diagnosed today, he would likely have survived. Please help us support ongoing research so that one day, there will be zero deaths from melanoma.
