  • ON THE DAY
    • The AMRF team are looking forward to seeing all the teams and participants on Sunday, 24 March 2024 at Henley Square. We will be set up by 8am until 11am. Please remember to bring your hat, long sleeves, etc. to be sun safe!

We have water dispensers so you can fill up your water bottle and a sunscreen dispenser to be sun safe! Then it’s off through the arch on your walk at your own pace, along the coastal path to Grange Jetty. Our wonderful volunteers will greet you at the halfway mark, then it’s time to head back to Henley Square to complete your walk.

Melanoma Patients Australia will be in attendance with resources and information on services provided throughout Australia.

There will be free skin checks on the day for participants provided by Lions Medical Research Foundation Skin Cancer Screening Unit.

We wish to acknowledge the support of The City of Charles Sturt.

Our event is dog friendly so your furry friends are welcome to join us, provided they are on a leash.

Thank you for taking steps with us to support life-saving research!

  • WALKING ROUTE
    • Melanoma March Adelaide will commence from the beachside of Henley Square and walk north along the pedestrian walkway to Grange Jetty. Melanoma Marchers are welcome to return their journey on the sand or on the walkway to complete their 4km journey.

  • PARKING
    • Henley Beach is located approximately 20 minutes west of Adelaide’s city centre. There is ample parking in the area, but please be mindful that some parking bays are metered. Alternatively, please check with Adelaide Metro for up to date bus services to the area.
